it happened to me a long time ago.. nemesis banned me for binding auto taunts to the movement keys. and that time when i asked him if he went to spec because he was a bad loser and larry said later that nemesis had banned me cuz i called him a noob lol

Back on topic, i really doubt it's Larry the one responsible for this. He is a very nice guy. And even if he is the one doing this, he is intitled to do so, because he pays for the server so it's his server and he does whatever he thinks it's best. It's like if someone told you to get out of their house and you get pissed because it's cold outside. Just don't forget that Larry servers are some of the last few that run m3 24/7 and we should only be thankfull that he keeps them up and running.

First i got to ask, Has everyone had there own name when the bans occured ?

The best way to avoid a ban is too keep you name the same, then all people know
you when you join the game, there is no mistake as to who is killing who.

BUT....It can slightly back fire at times, I often join servers, and within one or maybe two games, they all leave. I don't play ut very often now, but still I enjoy the odd match. But I still have some skill, esp on the M3 server's and the most frustrating
thing for me is not the banning (as I never get banned) but the players who constantly accuse me of cheating.

you try an explain that you are an old vet on M3, but they never hang around long enough.

The selection of admins is a tough one, choose the right guys, and all is well, someone slightly too bitchy, and half the players are banned, someone that doesnt care enough, and no-one gets banned even when they should.

I would personally email larry, and ask him to look into the bans, He's a good guy, and might be able to offer you the reasons/proof for the ban....or he could remove it.

It's always the first port of call, find the admin for the server, and drop him a polite email....and I mean POLITE.....don't even think the word NOOB , and never type it.

well i think im not banned there anymore, cos i played on larry's servers with one of the old bfgs :P ...
and mc mate,Mad Kam or Kam or JTF Kam whatever kam is just obvious, isnt it? lol , its either me or amon, cos he calls himself kam too -_-' but im not the one shouting noob around lol

and well.... even some friends accused me of cheating -_-' when i first kinda came back to ut , even mads told me im cheating, till i said im mad too lol, its like , my name is kam , u cheat! , im a mad member, ah you're kam ! hi mate .. lol kinda funny ..
well i dont really care if i get banned on larry's :P cos mad will have its own server soon enough :D
and btw .. ah lol nevermind, i wont type ten pages of meaningless crap xd
