Was just demonstrating a BIG flaw in his argument about him saying he doesnt go on banning sprees in the MAD servers.

tbh, i know how larry feels, i'm still only playing a couple of times a week, cos i don't realy have a gaming set up, don't even have a computer chair, have to sit on the end of the bed lol, & i'm not playing anywhere near as good as i used to, but on the very first game i had when i came back, i was in a random server (can't remember which one) & got called a cheat almost right away :/ from some guy in a clan i never heard of :/

& for the record, & this is only my personal experience, but both Larry & Nemessis have allways been very nice & polite in game, even a couple of times when we where all using different nicknames, so i didn't know it was them, & they didn't know it was me.

nemessis went into spec a couple of times, but thats understandable, as it does look suspicous when your playing someone that seems to know exactly where your gonna re-spawn, but thats experience rather than cheating, most of us can geuss where an opponent will respawn, esp if there are only 2 or 3 players on the map, depending on where you are, the other player will usually respawn in one of two places, so to somebody watching it could look like you got radar or somat like that.

Remember though

Nem and Larry wouldn't play me at one stage, and accused me of cheating many times
because some dick on another site said I cheated and had evidence of it.

I asked on many many occasions to see this evidence, too find out who said what, but it never was shown to me. no one is always good, I have been know to let a few f u's fly when people are being very childish, but on the whole, thats only 3 or 4 times since ut99.

In the end, I think they accepted that i didn't cheat but it took along time for it to sort it self out, and it made me loose the love i had for ut2k4.

I currently don't have it installed, but I would put £100 quid, if i reinstalled it now, I would be accuseed of cheating within 2 or 3 games on an m3 server.

"Welcome to the real world" as the guy with the same name of my beloved favourite map would say. Nowadays, if you kill a guy 5 times in a row you are a true candidate to be called a cheater!!! Congratulations! You are either very good, or have a very "untrained" foe. I don't really pay attention to that, or disrespect towards me, with all problems life gives us, why would someone care about a virtual character spamming the chat?

 

Larry was always nice and polite to me. No complaints about him.
