OK heres mine

MOBO = Asus P5N-D Nforce 750i onboard 8.1 sound.

CPU - INTEL CPU Q9450 ( 4 cpu's)

Memory = 4gb OCZ Reaper

GFX = 2 x Nvidia 8800GT (SLI)

Monitor = SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER 226w ( 22")

OS = Vista Ultimate SP1

im going to buy my new pc real soon. ill wait some more time. but, meanwhile give me your opinio. should i buy 2 geforce 8800 gt now, or buy a geforce 8800gtx now, and later when i have money buy another 8800gtx??

i have a GTX, & mercy's (single) GT outperforms it...... but be aware, if you are planning to go SLi later on, the 8800 cards are being phased out, so getting a matching card will not be very easy in a short while...

hmmm....dont know scorch but there is a new card it called Nvidea Gerforce 280 GTX with 1gb (gddr3) this card is coool but raedon have a new crad too sry dont how the name is but it have DX 10.1 and 0,5 or 1 bg (gddr5)
the radeon is better but i think nvidea want to bring out a new crad on christmas
i want only to say that :) because all want to buy the 8800gtx xD

fabio if i was you lol i would buy geforce 280 ( i m buying one myself lol )
but not that 1 gb version but 846 mb version or somehting its TWICE as cheap as the 1gb version lol ;]

I still got one of these in my spares box

infact mate, I also have a 32mb gcard also, I think it was a voodoo, but i'm not 100%

god damn, were showing our age.

I've also got , not 100%, but .... the very first g card I owened, which was a 16mb version

Now that ws naff, but at the time, WOW, it was so sweet

as i said in another thread, my 250mm side fan died a short while ago, & as i have 5 hard drives stuffed into my case,, it gets a bit hot lol.. so yesterday i tried to find a replacement fan, friken impossibe :/ £25 minimum, & thats from the USA :( so instead i got a sharkroom gamecase, it ticked 3 big boxes when it came to things i needed, firstly, it has 9 5.25" bays :) that means i can use cooling caddies for all my drives, (2 in alloy coolermaster hotshot bays & 3 in a thermaltake caddy with front mounted 120mm fan) second, all the drive bezals (sp) are black mesh with filters on the inside to stop dirt being pulled through with the fans :) & third & most important,,, i could afford it lols... £23 :0 so very pleased about that :)




@ the Mc.... first gfx card i owned was 4mb radeon lol :) & it rocked..... rofl...

@ ogs can ya tell me where ya find 250 mm side fan my sister`s 1 die too a few weeks ago and then i installed 1* 120 mm fan in the back but it would be cooler with that big fan at the side

maybe in some case modding shops :/ but i think just like og, ebay is the only option :/
.... you can also make your own fan... from lego bricks XD

btw nice case chris :) ... the one i ordered looks almost thesame xD ...
