but all of you lagged :/ big al teleported all over the place, mdm said he lagged , u were also teleporing around :/ i seemed to be the only one not having that much trouble with lag :P
and since u are on that farm, cant u let a company build a glassfiber connection there? its that cable to home thing, so its not like they have to make a whole network.. here it's free for .. 2 months or something, and otherwise like 150 euros to get connected, for me its quite much, but if u are not rich but like.. u know quarter rich xd then u can afford such a thing and play lagfree :)

i did try ut3... i just ..cant even get thru the single player, its just not thesame as ut2004 ; ( it doesnt lag at all, runs fine at max settings but.. the controls are a pain in the ass, im used to my mouse piepedswitch weapon settings and i cant do that in ut3... jumping is also **** in ut3.. shockrifle does not feel as good as in 2004.. thats why i prefere sniper.. eh..... and i cant even change my crosshair without downloading some patches or mods i dont know about lol ...

Same here - i bought this game - played it a while an were dissapointed by the gameplay (movments, Weapon Handling ... like kam). So it rest in my Shelf now lol.

I know you have made some Maps for UT3 Blitz ?

Maybe we could install the game again for playing on these maps ?

héhé... this game is for me really more attractive than UT2k4 but i had to wait a lot and to involve myself to be 98% happy...(the last 2% are for the missing shieldgun:p)

i did a lil "tuto" post but it seem that it need to be approoved by admins first; feel free to delete it if u dont like it of course

and yup i had to learn how to map thoses last two years because noone wanted to build a decent morpheus3 remake....it s done now but i plane to do a third version more complex and differently oriented + i did some remakes like phobos ; peak or flux (missed em too much too)
in fact i think that several of my maps can please morpheus addicts they are mostly based on low grav in the space and dark like mp3....but it s not to me to say if they can please someone; if u try em i ll be happy for sure
link to my "poor" maps in my sig; and they should work on medium rigs!

if some of you change opinion on the game i can provide some map lists; i have around 500 custom maps on my hd and some are pure asskicks

eh, uknow blitz, a game where i need to work on for 5 hours to make it fun to play doesnt seem to be worth it lol. still i cant change weapons as i would like to, i dont have any special keyboard stuff so i cant rly use the buttons without 3 extra fingers lol, so i do the most on my mouse which is not possible on ut3 -_- that kills it for me :/ i knew about the jump mutator, but long not all servers use that, so i would be stuck to some servers that actually run the modes i like, or actually seem fun to play... although i might just try the things out from your tuto post. but i ll think about that : )

lol...5 hours^^....it needs 1 hour maximum (installation time include) and less if u do it for the 50 th time :p
i cant understand what u mean with the weapons changes....here it work exactly same way as UT2k4 ; i have 4 weapons on the keyboard and 2 on the mouse in both games....(i dont use special buttons on my kb)
for the dodge jump mutator i play only offline with it and on our lil server too; this mutator help to make the game more close to ut2k4 on some special maps (else u need to run more and some jumps are impossible ) the mutator becomes very popular though and u ll find it on several servers

if u do it for the 50th time then there is totally something wrong with the game lol and what i mean with the weapons is for example
i ve got an additional button on the mouse, when i press it , i get flak, when i press it again, i get rockets, when i press again, i get flak again and so on
or with scroll, if i push scoll up, i get shock rifle, if i push up again, i get sniper or lightning gun, up again then shockrifle, and if i dont have one or the other, i scroll thru that weapon and assoult and other stuff
and scroll down are other 2 weapons , such things u cannot bind in ut3... i ve seen lots of complains on epic forums, fans begging for patches that covers that .. they didnt fix it.. there is a ... pretty weak alternative for that but its lame lol

i 100% agree with you that this had to be in the game since day 1

we all know that UT3 was quite rushed because Midway was pushing hard behind Epics to release sooner as possible
lot of stuff was rushed ; unfinished or just not working + in 2008 85 % of the PCs wasnt abble to handdle the game = a big flop
UT3 with mapmixer and UTcomp is really different and better

..a sort of interactive evoluable game... normal that thoses who was expecting a perfect game have gone back to UT2k4....but honnestly tr to play the same map on ut3 & ut2k4....no way to compare the gfx !

u know i m not gonna defend UT3 too much; i m like ya & was disapointed too
what i want to say is that the game was improoved by the community itself and the result is superb :p

wtf is all that unbinding about ? do i seriously need to unbind everything i want to use? so get in options and set everything to fire and back or somethin... wtf.. and most of the keys i want to use are not in the menu, thats the main reason of using user.ini in the first place.. eh... i ll do it when im seriously bored lol, cos now im going for an old good ut2004 match loll..
