Hi, well, i tried to connect my 2 pc's together and i wanted to be able to print things from this pc on the others printer. And i kind of succeeded lol. but when i wanted to print something, the pages came out white :/ then i tried on the other pc, i wrote some tekst, clicked on print, my printer thing moves left and right, 'like its doing something' and it gives me a white page -_-' so my printer is f*cking faking lol , and ye, that thing with ink is not empty. anyone had that b4? :/
and another thing, can i see/ edit/ files and settings of the other pc via mine? ( without other pc being albe to do that on me. )
doing things with windows 98 and xp seemed so much easier than this vista thing :/
edit: i tried a few stuff, and now i can share the HDD with this pc lol still, is there a possibility to change settings and stuff of the other pc via this one? and still didnt fix the printer problem :/
and i didnt tried to change settings on the other pc while i was in lan but ya have to give it free with pw and then log in with admin pw ! and ... dunno for sure then ya can change settings
and i read it too 3 times but cant really help so thought better not to post
lol i know how to do the lan thing now, and that printer doesn work directly and indirectly lol, that model is a bit outofuse lol... :/ cant buy a new printer with 15 euros in my wallet lol :/
the way i do it is to connect the printer to my main pc, then run the network wizard on all pc's & remember to tick the allow print/file server option. then when you goto prinetr settings the printer should show up remotely.
so, i bought a new printer - canon mp190 ( usb connected ) it works and stuff , but when i share it with my other pc , my other pc says i dont have the right software :/ when i downloaded the drivers it said its 32 bits only and cannot be installed -_- so i got some other crap of canon, no idea what, it was there between drivers i was looking for. and it says it deeds drivers itself -.- and the other says the printer isnt connected ...
any ideas about it ? lol ... i havent tried the cd yet tho...
see if the 64bit drivers are on the disc, tbh, i don't like vista too much, mainly because stuff like this is a pain, it's ok going vista-to-vista, but vista-xp etc can be a pain in the arse :(
vista-to- whatever is terrible :/ ... well, i fixed it. i found the 64bit drivers on internet.... on like 5th page -.-' they doesnt even have that on their own canon website.... lame :/
well... if i had time enough i would write my own system... lol if i could live... 200 years longer lol
