a strange thing to start a thread about.... 

But, having allways used standard "vanilla" cheapo mouse mats, i just got a razor goliathus mat from ebay for £10..

never even thought about getting a "gaming" mouse mat before, tbh i just figured they where a rip off & wouldn't really effect the mouse sensitivity as long as the mat you used was fairly dark, & clean (mine was the el super cheapo fabric on rubber material 59p from tesaco lols) & ........

Fraqing hell, it's like night & day :)   i can even use my mouse on full res now,  before it was way to "jerky"  to be accurate,  but now it's smooth & easy(er) still twitchy,  but acurate at the same time....


anyway,   just thought i'd share :)

i got one, it costs like 30 - 50 cents , black, dirty, smelly, rofl, thats my mat
and... i dont have money to buy a gaming one... :/

Og's I used a Razor Mantis speed mat for some time now

Would never go back.... awesome.

It's like 17" x 14", so plenty of space to have low or high res.....

Then buy one, there cheap now,

when i got mine, it was £17.99

I knew It was allot, but I'd read so many good reviews....

so worth it, but u need a big desk for most gaming pads now...

Kai, do you use the RSI mat thingy (the hump at the front of the mat) it's supposed to stop your hand & wrist hurting when u use it for extended periods, but the bloody things hurt me like hell, so i take em off...


tho, tbh i'm a bit of a freak lol :)

lol, chris, those things are made to hurt lol holding my hand on it in such an unnatural way makes me throw it away after 3 mins of playing lol. still i don't have such a mat :( all i have in my walllet isn't enough to buy one xD but i think i ll get one sooner or later ^^
