this is a good site to check if and how you can run a game.
i used it when i had my old pc,  lol like that i could see if i can run it b4 buying the game and seeing i cant XD 
lol...  now i can see how fast my pc is lol while running that. 
i havent tested a game where results were below max      lol :P   meh im proud :]

whats your native res, do u have an lcd, or crt monitor

If you got an lcd, run it at it's native, with features down low, that will give you your best look.

As lcd or tft don't like being used lower than there native, and will often perform worse
than if u use the native with lower settings

try it, it might surprise you
