If your going for an 8800 series, get the BFG8800GT OC2 (or similar) very close to GTX scores

the T220 monitor is not ideal for what you want it for, It didn't get the best review, although it does look really really nice, thats about all it does well....check out this thread....

Just built it about 5-6 weeks ago ,
my old rig was a athlon 2800 , 512 ram , 6600gt graphics card ,
so this was quite a big step up in performance ,
i upgraded everything except case/monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers ,
it runs ut3 at constant 62 fps for comparison
Over 12,000 3d Mark 06 score
Should run Starcraft 2 ok

I got the BFG card because it was a good price and is pre-overclocked out of the box from 600mhz to 675 mhz , also 10 yr warranty .
The 8800GT is very slightly slower than the gtx , less ram also 500 mb on gt , 768 mb on the gtx , on average about 5 fps slower than the gtx but can be faster in some games .
BUT its a lot less money , performance vs price ratio its the card to get , will cream any game out there at the moment except crysis , but then no system can cream that game .
Not sure how much hardware costs in mainland europe , I think its a bit cheaper than here in the UK but for 1150 euro u will definitely get a kickass pc .

Kamil those specs are fantastic although u could save a bit by getting the 8800gt instead , only a bit slower but a lot less money , also what res is the samsung monitor 1680 , 1920 ?
Be aware that as soon as u get a higher res monitor u have commited yourself to upgrading more regularly , Higher res needs more cpu/graphics power

surely i could pay the money for a better cpu and more memory, but:
first of all, its not my own pc but from my brother an me together... this sucks^^
second, theres some damn failure, that the pc reboots from time to time, perhaps i would had to change the psu, too...
and last, i could use a notebook for work while not at home, this is helpfull, too...

first and last reasons are the main facts, why i want a notebook....i want a own machine, not to always share with my bro.
and i think, this one is not bad for not to much money.... u know, i'm a student, i'm not rich xD
