i really thought about to buy an asus eee pc! (lol pc) i think its cool to sit in the bus and play ut! i know hdd is very small! but ive got an pocket hdd with 120GB so i think it would be enough to install ut! i saw it worked, on you tube, but with damned slow ipod thing! so tell me plz
yes i see it like kam. whats the price ? if it costs more than 300 euro don´t buy it!
so i see its an very old model isen´t it ? with luck ut runs very laggy because our old computer was very old too. and ut runs not very well. hope u understand waht i try to say lol:)
ehm, those arent so old :] but ehh... would u like to play ANYTHING on such a HUGE screen? :] lol... if i was you i would buy a second hand ( or whatever u call it ) notebook, a good one lol
thats right to get a second mouse but i have to play on isdn mac no way ! dunno was an idea to play a bit ! cant take my pc with me all the time and it costs 279 euro asus eee pc and a playable notebook about 700 Euro i think but that money i have to spend in a new life! and @ call ive got a good playable comp just no net now wait wait wait and i cant take a 37 inch screen with me all the time !!!!!!!!!!!i will look like the Hunchback of notre dam !!!!!!!!! rofl idea have a look at fuuny pics
the Eeec pc's are decent, but not high powered, even the new Windows version is slow & the battery life isn't great, i was gonna get one, but tbh my iphone does everything that does, & looks better too :)
dont know what i will do still wait safe money i think ! its the best and buy next year or so new things inside or i rebuild my old 1 ut runs there fast as hell !
dunno if your still looking at these, but the first generation Atom based netbooks have dropped in price to around 250 pounds (about 325 euro i guess)
i have the Advent 4211 which is a clone of the MSI Wind.
1.6ghz intel cpu 120gig hard drive 1gig DDR2 ram (cost 3 pounds for another gig on ebay ;) ) Built in 1.3mega pixel webcan (top of screen mout) + mic Built in WiFi & Bluetooth 10" screen @ max res of 1024 x 600 (low res, but good quality, that makes a big difference) XP Home edition. 3 usb ports SD card reader
downside is the battery don't last long, if your just surfing the web you get "maybe" 2 hrs, thats if u turn off the bluetooth & use fairly low screen brightness. but if your watching movies etc, then you get maybe an hour :( i got a better, but cheaper battery from ebay (original one is only 3 cell, i got a 9 cell) my new battery lasts upto 8hrs, goes down to about 6hrs if i'm using wifi & watching vids etc, but thats still ace imo :) as it means i don't need to lug my charger around anymore ;)
all these are exactly the same as the msi wind/advent 4211, & can all use the same parts/replacements etc, as far as i know this is a comlpete list of all MSI Wind clones sold across europe.

All OEM versions are offered in different colors to the original MSI Wind, apart from the Tsunami Moover (white only), the Mobo White and the Ahtec LUG N011 (white only). The higher versions are obviously more expensive
Acer, Asus & samsung also do almost identical Atom based netbooks, but they are generaly a bit more expensive (apart from the acer aspire one, which is cheaper, but has a smaller screen & linux instead of windows) & the Samsung NC-10 & NC-20 have much better batteries included.
they may go down further in price as the next gen of energy efficient Atom cpu's are here already for desktop pc's, so they'll be available in netbooks anytime now, so don't be surprised if you see the 1.6ghz atom netbooks hit the 200 pound mark in the next few months.
& for your info, the current Atom netbooks (like mine) run ut04 with gfx turned down & @ 800x600 pretty damn good :) tho, it's impossible to use the trackpad for it lols :)
