Tbh, i've not loaded it up for weeks & weeks, partly cos of not havin time & partly cos i can't be arsed with it (yet)
so, this is really aimed at people that own the game, are you playing it, or are you mainly playing ut04 still.
i'm trying to get a feel for the ut3 comunity & to decide if it's worth continuing ut3 servers, cos at the moment without proper webadmin it's rubbish ;/ (imo)
I've got UT3. I even bought myself a nice new kics-azz-PC just to be able to play it. But I am very disappointed! The user-interface is annoying, extremely "noisy" and anything but user-friendly. You can't even choose your own nick if someone else on this planet is using it. The graphics looks cool but I haven't yet found one single UT3 map that I liked, so I hardly ever play the game.
So let me put it this way: If I ever run low on harddisk space UT3 will be the first program that I uninstall (((immediately followed by the nude pics of McAras girlfriend ))).
@ topic: i dont got ut3... played the demo, but my pc is kind too slow.... maybe it would be possible, but for the moment, i do like ut2004 more than ut3. so, if i have some little free-time off studying, i play ut2004.... :)
hi all, I've got ut3 but on the net for the moment there is nobody and ping is very high ( again 300 ping yesterday). It's boring to play ut3 on the net

I played it for a couple of weeks ... and pretty much got to dislike it. It looks good, but lakes the playability and addiction of UT2K4
Saying that, I thought I might lease a UT3 for a month to see how much interest there is. Kinda concerning that there is no webadmin. Is that a general thing ?

as for the webadmin on ut3, the last server i had was about 3 months ago, & webadmin was coming "anytime now" so there is a good chance it's sorted now, i recommend gameservers.com for ut3, as a 10 slot public ut3 server runs in at about £10 per month, most charge more for ut3 over ut04, so it's a good deal, & they put the server up very very fast, i ordered mine on a sunday at lunchtime, & it was running before teatime same day... :)
if you get a DM server, i might be tempted to open a TDM ? might be worthwhile if we put our heads together & mod them so they suit the M3 community a bit better, tho, as far as i know, all the low grav on ut3 is bolloxed, imo, the air controll kills it :(
